New Delhi: Rana Daggubati, the popular actor from Baahubali, extended his best wishes to the Indian Women's cricket team as they arrived in Dubai for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup 2024. In a video shared on BCCI's Women's X handle, Rana Daggubati could be seen cheering on the Indian team as they landed in Dubai.
The Women’s 2024 T20 World Cup 2024 will take place it the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to October 20. The tournament was initially scheduled to be held in Bangladesh but had to be shifted due to the civil unrest in the country.
On Wednesday, September 25, the BCCI Women’s social media handles shared a video of the Women in Blue arriving in Dubai to compete in the ICC event. Daggubati wished the squad for the marquee event while making the appearance in the video.

“I just bumped into these amazing people at the airport, and I am wishing them all the very best. Thank you,” Said Daggubati.
India will start their T20 World Cup campaign against New Zealand at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on October 4. India is placed in Group A, will face Arch rivals Pakistan at the same venue on October 6.
India will lock horns with Sri Lanka on October 9, in their third clash. They will face Australia for their last group game in Sharjah on October 13.
