Venkatesh Iyer was re-acquired by KKR for Rs 23.75 crore, making him the priciest allrounder in IPL history. Shukla also mentioned that a discussion regarding the selection of the Indian team for next month’s Champions Trophy will take place on January 18th or 19th.
According to reports, the cutoff date for submitting provisional squads to the ICC is January 12. To date, only three teams—England, New Zealand, and Bangladesh—have revealed their squads for the tournament.
