New Delhi: Pakistan’s renowned fast bowler Shaheen Afridi suffered a dislocated left thumb during the third and final ODI against Australia in Perth, causing him visible pain on the field. Fortunately, his teammate Babar Azam quickly came to his aid and managed to fix the injury by pulling the thumb back into place. The incident occurred in the 26th over when a delivery from Sean Abbott was hit towards midwicket. Shaheen Afridi, who was positioned at the non-striker's end, sustained the injury while trying to collect the throw in front of the stumps.

While the physios took some time to come out and attend Shaheen, Babar decided to take the matter in his own hands. In a viral video, Babar was seen pulling the bowler’s thumb to ease the pain.

Even the commentators were stunned by Babar’s viral act.
