Below are the most notable NBA players born on Nov 12.

Russell Westbrook (1988): Westbrook has been one of the best players in the NBA over the last 15 years. The fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, Westbrook finished fourth in Rookie of the Year voting in his debut season. Seattle moved to Oklahoma City in his rookie season and he became arguably the greatest Thunder player of all time. Westbrook made eight All-Star appearances in his 11 seasons with OKC and took home Kia MVP honors in 2016. In 2016-17, Westbrook becomes the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double in two seasons. Since his departure from OKC, Westbrook has spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, LA Clippers and Washington Wizards, and currently plays for the Denver Nuggets. The future Hall of Fame guard is averaging 21.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 8.1 assists and 1.6 steals throughout his 17-year career.

Paolo Banchero (2002): Banchero was the top pick by the Orlando Magic in the 2022 NBA Draft, and has become of the star of the franchise. Banchero took home Rookie of the Year honors in his debut season and followed it up with his first All-Star appearance last year. He’s clearly not showing any signs of slowing down after pouring in a career-high 50 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists on Oct. 28.

Corey Maggette (1979): Maggette was the 13th overall pick in the 1999 NBA Draft by the Seattle SuperSonics. He was traded to the LA Clippers his sophomore season and spent the next eight years in LA. That’s where Maggette made a name for himself, averaging 19.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists between 2004 and 2010. He closed his career by suiting up for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons before retiring in 2013.
